Suns 2020 Committee

On Tuesday November 12 Surf Coast Suns held their 2019 Aunnual General Meeting. During this meeting a number of changes to the committee were voted in.

Firstly, I’d just like to thank and recognise the contribution of outgoing Secretary Kim Hurley and Football Coordinator Gavin Croft. Kim and Gavin have been involved with the club over a number of years. We look forward to continuing to work with both of them in the coming season through their childrens teams.

Replacing Kim as the club secretary is Kathering Ferrie.

Amber Potter moves from Netball Coordinator to Vice President of Netball. With the rapid growth of Netball at the Suns we felt we needed to be sure Netball had a dedicated focus. Griet Desomer continues as Vice President of Football.

Jo Murphy joins the committee for the first time as Netball Coordinator.

Joel Bett leaves AusKick after 3 years in the role. Joel has done a terrific job building Auskick up to 180 participants,. We are very fotunate not to lose Joel as he moves into the Junior Football Coordinator role vacated by Gavin.

Nathan Patterson joins the committee as the Aus Kick Coordinator. Nathan was a parent helper last season and will be guided by Joels experience.

All other positions remain the same. The 2020 committee is as follows;
